A free agent signing 11 years in the making, many dont know that Cole has been in the Yankee plans since at least 2008. That year, the team saw an opportunity to find a future ace who could rise through the system and quickly make an impact in the majors, a high school righty from southern California with a live arm and maturity. Thus, with the 28th pick of the 2008 draft, the Yankees selected Gerrit Cole. Bowman Chromes 1st Gerrit Cole autographed professional baseball card. The highest paid pitcher of all time is presented in a PSA 9 that I personally pulled in 2012. This card breathed for about 5 seconds before being put in a top loader with 4 perfectly sharp corners and centered wonderfully as well. THIS CARD SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE CONSIDERED FOR A BGS RE-GRADE. (BECKETT GRADING SERVICES) I only used PSA to grade cards back then as I should have submitted it to Beckett from the get.
