What makes this an rare lot is that few New York Guard Uniforms survived in this condition. Officer was Captain in rank and from New York City. The Dress Jacket is in very good condition and complete with waist belt, with full insignia and officer's cuff band.
JACKET SPECIFICATIONS: Chest 38" / Across shoulders 18" / Arm Pit to Cuff 17" / Shoulder Seam to Cuff 23" / Collar Base to Hem 30. The Officer Visor Cap is also in good condition and has initials A. Gilt engraved on leather hat band. The visor cap has the NY Guard Hat Badge and the tag indicates size is 6 7/8.There's also a selective service Reserves' ID card dated 1954 and a Fort Sumter, So Carolina Hotel Card dated 1951. We will not honor these requests. NOTE: Normally we do not either launder or have dry cleaned our Military Uniforms.
